Light Up The Sky, Sunday 19th October.

It will soon be that time of the year again when the NKG shows its support for Children In Need. The BBC's Children In Need appeal helps raise millions of pounds every year towards helping disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK.
We will be flying at the Otterspool Promenade, Liverpool on Sunday 19th October, starting at around mid-day and going on until after dark when flyers 'Light up the Sky' with a display of kites with lights. We are hoping that during the day we will be able to hold a Teddy Bear Drop to cement the link with 'Pudsey the Bear'.
Soup, sandwiches, cakes etc. will be provided by the Otterspool regulars and we will hold the traditional Children In Need auction in the early evening.
We look forward to seeing as many NKG members as possible but if you can't attend and would like to donate, remember all the money raised will go to Children in Need. All you need to do is post a cheque to the NKG, c/o Mary Jones, Treasurer.
