A scorching hot spell coincided with our first visit to Silloth for the kite festival. The light and variable winds of Saturday meant that I didn't take the opportunity to stray far from our own location so I didn't get many pictures of the multitude of kites that were flown. Alas the strengthening and turbulent winds of Sunday meant I didn't even have chance to get the camera out!
