Len's Munro Trip to the Skye Cuillin.

The hills of Skye are noted for their fickle weather. The cliche about the weather on Skye is " if you can see the hills of Skye, its about to rain; if you can't, then it already is &quot.
My first trip was at an early Easter in 1990. The weather was quite reasonable down at the campsite in Glen Brittle, however the hills that were my quarry, the Black Cuillin, were often shrouded in cloud. There was some snow still about, with wintry showers on most days on the tops. Add to this the famed magnetic properties of the local volcanic rock and all in all I had an interesting time. My two youngsters accompanied me on some of the hills, but these are not hills to be taken lightly.

I have another selection of photographs from later in this same year, I will show these at a later date.
