Len and Carol visit Knoydart in 1997 "There be Corbetts here."
This trip started with a railway journey up to Mallaig. We then took the mail boat around to Inverie. This village boasts the remotest pub on the British mainland, for the very reason that there is no road connection in. The weather for the trip was mainly dry with very hot overcast skies in the latter part of the week. The visit yielded 7 new Corbetts and I include here scenes taken on and around those hills. We walked in a loop through Knoydart and eventually made our way back to the railway at Glenfinnan for our journey home.
I have another selection of photographs from my Munro bashing days. These were taken at Easter with plenty of snow about, I will have to scan these sometime.
