Icarex Material
The old and new material do not exactly colour match. The nearest other blue panel is quite a distance away so shouldn't cause any conflict. The reinforcing web is also different between the old and new material.
The old material looks like a polyester similar to some I obtained from Steve at the Kitebuilder Forum shop. I used it to build my Urban Ninjas and other light wind stuff. The material was described as 0.6oz polyester which works out very similare to the 31gram Icarex.
