Callanish Standing Stones (Calanais)
The standing stones of Callanish are just an amazing spectacle. Positioned in a Celtic Cross formation in an era predating the time of Christianity by several millennia they sit spread across the top of a hillock. These stones are from the main site at Callanish I. There are another THREE seperate standing stone groups in the Callanish area!
